Explore Maidstone In A Classic Car |
Maidstone is Kent’s county town. It has the river Medway at its heart. The rivers banks offer some lovely walks. Perhaps to the picnic sites along the river or to the locks at Aylesford, Farleigh and Teston. The Aylesford lock is coincidently conveniently placed next to a Beefeater. You may well see the lock in action as during the summer months it is a busy waterway. If a river trip interests you there are regularly scheduled boat trips running from March to September during the summer months from here.
With 900 years of history and 500 acres of land Leeds castle with its many events including car shows, jousting tournaments concerts and much more. Yearly passes are available which makes the shops, gardens, aviary, mazes and play areas for children accessible all year through. Hot air balloon rides and falconry are also on offer but may be weather dependant. |
