| Dover is a seaside town with one of the world’s busiest ferry ports. It has a full, rich history dating back to the roman invasion which is still obvious today with the large castle dominating the town from the hill above. Open all year round with tours of the castle and war time secret tunnels and bunkers, the castle and surrounding area has an abundance of activities with tours, cafes and gift shops. Why not park up on the cliffs in the national park site and take a walk along the chalk paths to the south foreland lighthouse. On a clear day France is visible and watch the ferries come and go.
